- This is a progressive course for beginners.
- Classes take place on Zoom with visual, audio and text from French speaking authentic documents.
- You need: a computer (there will be screen sharing), a microphone and a camera. This is a collaborative & interactive class.
- Goal: to become confident within 1 year (session 1 out of 3), to then prepare your TEF / TEFAQ exam.
- Engaging & dynamic classes where speaking, listening, writing, reading are blended for a full French immersion.
- Course content: intro to French phonics, master various type of sentences, speak formal/informal French, learn numbers, date, time, most used regular & irregular verbs (être, avoir, aller, faire, venir, etc), present tense, comparison, daily life information and description, simple explanations and intro to the past / future tenses.
- Practical skills acquired at the end of the session: Fill up forms (admin, travel, study), ask for information at a customer service/frontline service, write a paragraph & talk about yourself, write a simple email request, meet and greet people, master simple conversation with daily life topics, get used to live and move around in a francophone city/country, organize and talk about work, activities, and studies, talk about your memories and projects with simple sentence structures, start having a sense of chronology in French.
